Ahmedabad city is culturally and traditionally famous for its on-street activities related to trade. Street vendors are essential for the urban economy. This project and studio work was oriented for the PALDI ward. Vendors' on-street activities mapped along with identified issues for both policy level as well for grassroots level. A detailed case study and leading practices helped to formulate the vision for street vendors' effective management. proposals are focused on organized trade and smooth communication, bringing more footfall and a dedicated marketplace for street vendors for the paldi ward area.
