Normalized Difference Index Vegetation (NDVI) - Nandurbar district

04.08.21

Normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) maps is a simple graphical indicator that can be used to analyze remote sensing measurements and assess whether the target being observed contains live green vegetation or not. Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) quantifies vegetation by measuring the difference between near-infrared (which vegetation strongly reflects) and red light (which vegetation absorbs). NDVI always ranges from -1 to +1. NDVI is the most common index that analysts use in remote sensing.
